From Fashion Week in Paris to downtown Charleston, jumpsuits of different forms roam the walkways. Jumpsuits are your one-and-done Summer statement piece? Oh wait, and your statement piece during Spring, Fall, AND even Winter.

Versatility
“How can one piece be so versatile? A jumpsuit is no mere laze-about adult onesie, it’s a fierce, figure-hugging classic that has evolved with its versatile versions as years have gone by."
A jumpsuit is no mere laze-about adult onesie, it’s a fierce, figure-hugging classic that has evolved with its versatile versions as years have gone by.
This one-piece is exceptional for date night, a picnic with the girls, to wear to work, and your go-to when lounging around the house on a lazy Sunday.
How is this possible, you may ask? How can one piece be so versatile?
A jumpsuit is no mere laze-about adult onesie, it’s a fierce, figure-hugging classic that has evolved with its versatile versions as years have gone by. I do have many “must-have” essentials when it comes to my day-to-day wardrobe BUT I must say that all loved ones around me, including family, friends, and even colleagues understand that I actually have an addiction to one-piece jumpsuits. I easily have 20 in my closet, yet all have a completely different vibe. Allow me to explain; fabric, cuts, patterns, and colors transform a jumpsuit from either a day or night item.
Spice it up
The jumpsuit isn’t limited to the daytime. On a special occasion, you might try a sheeny silver halter style by Alexander Wang or a lace-embroidered get-up by Tibi. As for that warmer weather coming up? An organic cotton flare boiler suit in pastel pinks, blues, and greens by Mara Hoffman will brighten up any day. Whatever you choose, it’s an instant statement - no outfit planning required.

Iconic
In the last few years, the perfect-fitting jumpsuit became a sartorial white whale for many women. Brands of course hopped to the challenge, flooding shelves with all sorts of styles that promised to be easy, breezy, and (most importantly) polished. Now jumpsuits are a wardrobe staple in their own right, as ubiquitous as the little black dress. I’d always recommend owning at least one workwear style jumpsuit, a bit snugger in the fit, high-quality, made with sleek satin, possibly a solid navy blue with sleeves. This exudes a very classy, sophisticated look and everyone will know you mean business! I recommended treasuring a fun, vibrant, flirty, and flashy jumpsuit for the nightlife, possibly a plunging neckline, with sequins or solid black and skin tight.
Lastly, owning the more comfortable jumpsuit made of cotton, looser in the fit, possibly a fun pattern or white with stripes, etc. An item you can wear to a lunch out, around the house, or while you’re out running errands - but you’ll be looking sassy as ever. Jumpsuits are sexy, comfortable, and ideal for all occasions which is why my closet is filled with these babies!
Stay in style, make a statement and let comfort be a factor for once, with the classic, iconic, jumpsuit.
